When the McFarlane family purchased The Home Ranch in the summer of 2020, they planned to transform the iconic Colorado property into a working cattle operation and a private compound they could make their own. But soon enough, the project ballooned into something bigger and more ambitious — an equine program led by some of the most skilled trainers and wranglers in the country. What makes this program special? Training plans are customized to fit each individual horse’s needs and goals. Whether it’s refining cutting techniques, building cow sense, or preparing for ranch work, The Home Ranch’s elite program is designed to develop well-rounded, confident horses ready for any task.
